The Uni brought reading and drawing to St. Mary’s Park in the South Bronx this weekend in support of a city-sponsored event promoting safe, healthy, nurturing environments for children. This deployment is also part of our 2016 partnership with NYC Parks to serve neighborhoods in the city’s Community Parks Initiative.
We were joined by two filmmakers from New CITYzens in France who are documenting the Uni Project. And we welcomed a new Uni staff member, Egypt Calier. This deployment was made possible by the Leaves of Grass Fund. Thanks also to Blick Art Materials for supporting the Uni Project DRAW program with donated art materials. Great day in the Bronx.

Staff meeting! Leslie, Egypt discuss the day with Louise and Nils from France.
